🚚 Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary by location within South Africa:
- Major Cities (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria): 3-5 business days
- Other Urban Areas: 5-7 business days
- Rural Areas: 5-10 business days
Please note that we process orders within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.
What are your delivery costs?
We offer competitive shipping rates:
- Standard Delivery: R100 (FREE on orders over R999!)
- Rural Delivery: R150
Additional surcharges may apply for remote locations, high-risk areas, or government buildings.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within South Africa. We do not offer international shipping.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order ships, we'll send you a tracking number via email so you can follow your package's journey every step of the way.
What are your business hours for deliveries?
Someone must be available to receive deliveries during business hours (8am-5pm). We'll attempt delivery twice before returning to our depot. Our courier companies do not deliver on weekends unless requested, which may incur additional costs.
🔄 Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from your purchase date to return or exchange items. Items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by receipt or proof of purchase (for in-store purchases)
Please note that underwear, gift cards, and sale items cannot be returned.
How do I return or exchange an item?
To return or exchange an item:
- Email us at sales@shazem.co.za with your reason for return/exchange
- You're responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind or wrong size orders
- We cover return shipping for manufacturing defects
- Once we receive and inspect your item, we'll process your refund/exchange
- Refunds go to your nominated bank account (original delivery fees not included)
Which items cannot be returned?
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Underwear (required by law, even if unopened)
- Gift cards
- Sale items (final sale)
What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
We're happy to exchange items that arrive defective or damaged - that's on us! Just email us at sales@shazem.co.za and we'll make it right. We'll cover the return shipping costs for manufacturing defects.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or credit card company. If you haven't received your refund after a reasonable time, please check with your bank first, then contact us at sales@shazem.co.za.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept multiple secure payment methods:
- Credit & Debit Cards: Visa and Mastercard (we do not accept Diners Club or American Express)
- Payflex: Choose between 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks OR 3 interest-free payments over 3 months
- PayJustNow: Pay in 3 equal, interest-free instalments over 3 months
All credit card information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) to ensure your payment details are protected.
How do Payflex and PayJustNow work?
Both Payflex and PayJustNow allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over time with no interest:
Payflex offers two options:
- Pay in 4 instalments over 6 weeks (25% upfront, then 3 payments every 2 weeks)
- Pay in 3 equal instalments over 3 months
PayJustNow: Pay in 3 equal instalments over 3 months
Simply select your preferred payment option at checkout and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Do you offer laybye?
Yes! We offer laybye both in-store and online, making it easy to secure your items and pay over time with no additional fees or interest.
What deposit is required for laybye?
The deposit required depends on how you're shopping:
- In-Store: Minimum deposit of R100
- Online: Deposit of 1/3 of the total order value
How long do I have to complete my laybye?
You have 3 months to complete your laybye payments. If you need additional time and have been making regular payments, you can request an extension - just contact us to discuss your options.
How often do I need to make payments?
There are no set payment terms! You can pay as you see fit - weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or whenever works for you. The only requirement is that the full amount is paid within 3 months.
Are there any fees for laybye?
No! There are absolutely no additional fees or costs involved with our laybye service. You only pay the price of the items.
What happens if I can't complete my laybye?
If you're unable to complete your laybye, you can request a refund and we'll refund the FULL amount you've paid - no cancellation fees or deductions.
Can I return or exchange laybye items?
Yes, laybye items can be returned or exchanged with the following conditions:
- Regular items: Can be returned for a refund or exchanged
- Sale items: Can be exchanged but cannot be refunded
All returns and exchanges must meet our standard return policy requirements (unused, original condition, within 14 days).
